Containment Protocols: FOC-067 is to be contained within a reinforced containment chamber at Site V. The chamber is to be constructed with thick, soundproof walls and equipped with airtight seals to prevent any form of communication or interaction between FOC-067 and personnel. All personnel entering the containment chamber must wear specialized noise-canceling headphones and visual-distortion goggles to minimize the risk of exposure to FOC-067's anomalous effects.
FOC-067's containment chamber is to be monitored at all times through surveillance cameras and audio recording devices. In the event of any breach or attempted escape, Site V security personnel are authorized to use lethal force to prevent FOC-067 from leaving its containment area.
Description: FOC-067 is a living anomaly resembling a tall humanoid figure approximately 7 feet in height. Its body is shrouded in a dark, form-fitting garment that appears to shift and ripple as if composed of constantly moving shadows. The face of FOC-067 is featureless, with no visible eyes, nose, or mouth. Its arms are elongated and end in sharp, claw-like appendages.
The primary anomalous property of FOC-067 is its ability to emit a series of high-frequency auditory patterns, hereafter referred to as FOC-067-A. When exposed to FOC-067-A, individuals within auditory range will begin to experience intense auditory and visual hallucinations, often including distorted perceptions of reality, vivid nightmares, and disorienting sensations. Prolonged exposure to FOC-067-A has been shown to lead to severe psychological trauma, loss of cognitive functions, and in some cases, permanent psychosis.
FOC-067 has demonstrated the ability to manipulate FOC-067-A to target specific individuals or groups, causing them to experience tailored hallucinations based on their fears, memories, and personal experiences. These hallucinations can range from seemingly harmless illusions to highly distressing and traumatic scenarios.
Despite its lack of visible facial features, FOC-067 is capable of communicating with individuals by modulating the frequency and intensity of FOC-067-A. The entity has shown an understanding of multiple languages and can convey its intentions and demands through auditory patterns.
Addendum - Incident Report 067-Alpha:
On 29/11/2004, during a routine maintenance procedure, a power failure occurred in FOC-067's containment chamber, causing a temporary breach. Security personnel were exposed to FOC-067-A for a brief period before containment was restored.
Following the incident, all affected personnel exhibited severe psychological distress, including heightened anxiety, paranoia, and auditory hallucinations resembling FOC-067-A. Several personnel required extended psychological treatment, and 16 individuals succumbed to psychosis and were subsequently terminated.
Containment protocols have been updated to reinforce the importance of maintaining uninterrupted power supply to FOC-067's containment chamber.
